When should I make my next medical pedicure?

A great question, and the answer to this depends on the condition of your feet, the types of shoes you wear and activities you do, the results of treatment you are expecting and how much effort you are willing to put into your feet.

At medical pedicure, our aim is to make your feet the best that they can be!  Whilst we are concerned with the aesthetic appearance of your feet, we also would like to make sure that we are addressing the the causes of your concerns with a therapeutic basis.

The best guide to your next appointment is from your Podiatrist.  Our Podiatrists’ are highly experienced in providing the RIGHT treatment for you, and providing you with a personalised treatment plan.

In general terms, if you are willing to put in the time and effort at home, and follow your personalised treatment plan, you will be able to space your medical pedicures out every 12-16 weeks.

Some people wish to have their feet looking their absolute best at all times and wish to come in every 4-8 weeks.

If you are a little too busy to follow your daily treatment routine (as many people are), we may suggest you make an appointment a little more regularly every 6-8 weeks or so.

In extreme cases, we may sometimes recommend a small number of treatments close together, and then space these medical pedicures out over time.

Most people we find are happy with making their medical pedicure appointments every 6-12 weeks.

Our aim is to ensure that each person has a treatment plan that they are happy with, and can reach and maintain realistic goals.

Sorry – for those with fungal infections, foot pain and in growing toe nails, the frequency of treatment will vary significantly depending on the individual case.
